Vice President of Sales – Identity-Focused Cybersecurity Company (Series B)

An innovative Series B cybersecurity company at the forefront of identity security is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead and scale its global sales function. Backed by top-tier investors and recognized for its cutting-edge approach to securing digital identities, the company is entering a phase of rapid growth and market expansion.

Role Overview:

The VP of Sales will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy, building and mentoring a high-performing sales organization, and driving predictable revenue growth across key markets. This individual will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the executive team to shape the company’s commercial strategy, with a strong focus on enterprise and mid-market segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the company’s sales strategy, aligning with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Hire, manage, and scale a high-caliber sales team, including regional leaders and account executives.
  • Define metrics, processes, and systems to drive pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and deal velocity.
  • Establish strong executive relationships with strategic customers, partners, and prospects.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure tight alignment across the customer journey.
  • Provide regular insights to the executive team and board on sales performance, market feedback, and competitive dynamics.
  • Identify new revenue streams, geographies, and verticals for market expansion.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven enterprise sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in cybersecurity, preferably in identity, access management, or adjacent sectors.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise sales teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience selling complex, technical solutions to security, IT, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong operational execution and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Strong network within the cybersecurity industry and experience working with channel and technology partners is a plus.

Location: Flexible/Remote (with regular travel as required)
