Job Description

Principal Solutions Architect - London - Hybrid - £100k If you are looking to help continue the growth of a business' digital capabilities, then this could be the role for you. Within this role you’ll work on a number of projects to build the foundations for strong, seamless and consistent experiences. You’ll be able to operate at an Enterprise level – understanding the broader needs of the organisation but be comfortable zooming into the detail where appropriate. In this key role, you will provide architectural thought leadership for their enterprise-grade solutions. You’ll possess deep technical skills in software architecture, data architecture, information security, compliance, software deployment and cloud computing. You’ll be relatively agnostic to underlying technologies – with a preference for driving fit-for-purpose solutions for the business and their customers. You’ll be an excellent communicator – whether that’s for technical concepts with their diverse distributed team or making technical concepts accessible to Director level stakeholders. Most importantly, you’ll be a self-starter, passionate about your practice, focused on unlocking early value/evolving your approach, firmly believe in creating measurable business value and will lead through influence and empathy. Your experience • Demonstrated experience working across a broad spectrum of different technologies, platforms and approaches, with a clear understanding of modern architectural approaches and how best to apply these. • Broad experience with a number of different technology stacks and approaches • Strong experience in defining architectural frameworks and approaches that centre around strong contracts and replaceable components, and scale from the service level to the enterprise level. • Comfortable and confident working with both new and legacy technologies, with demonstrable experience in bridging the gap • Experience in cross-functional teams • Proven ability to work at a strategic level for solution design and development • Working with Product Owners / Key Stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories, including supporting creation of effective acceptance criteria • Strong understanding of data protection and security implications • Experience with large scale transformation programmes • Clear understanding of TOGAF, SOLID and IT development methodologies • Experience maximising the value of offshore teams through driving clear focus and common understanding of solutions and technical strategies Principal Solutions Architect - London - Hybrid - £100k
