Job Description

Sales Development Representative

£35-45k basic OTE £60k (Uncapped)

Remote /1 day per week in the office-based London

Development to AE.

As an SDR at, it will be your mission to generate leads for our B2B gifting business through creative personalised outreach, could vary from a brand new prospect, an event lead, inbound content downloads or they may be using our free plan. Your main aim is to get our foot in the door and get our target ICP curious enough about my client to start the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Create personalised outreach to targeted accounts that fit within our ICP and persona providing value
  • Generate leads via a multi-thread, multi-touchpoint approach, contacting potential new customers via email, phone and LinkedIn with high activity across all channels
  • Find and use creative ways to stand out when contacting all leads, including video messaging, voice notes, direct mail or any ideas you can bring to the table
  • Use Linkedin to spread the word and stay top of mind by posting relevant content and engaging with your prospect's content
  • Find and attend relevant events to enable you to make connections with potential buyers
  • Keep our CRM (Hubspot, Gong) systems up to date with call notes and activity to help you report on results and ensure visibility for the rest of the team
  • Report back accurately on activity and results on a weekly basis
  • Work with the team - share feedback with customer success and wider team about any struggles customers may be facing

Requirements

  • 2 years in a SDR Role – proven track record
  • Curiosity - to succeed, you'll need to be interested in learning about the industry and most importantly, your prospect's problems, goals and ambitions
  • A good, active listener - sales isn't about the gift of the gab
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Resilience - the biggest buzzword in a sales interview, but a must
  • Ability to perform high levels of relevant and engaging outreach
  • Politely persistent - you're prepared to keep trying, but will do so in a useful, friendly and engaging (not annoying) way
  • Focus - you'll be researching businesses and finding creative ways to get in touch at scale
  • Able to use your initiative to bring new ideas to the table
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise and manage your own workload
  • Techie - you're not just able to adopt new tools and software quickly, you're excited to experiment with them to increase your productivity
  • Some experience working in a B2B SaaS environment
